Denali National Park is one of the most picturesque tourist destinations in all of Alaska. The park and preserve together cover 9,492 mi².The longest glacier is the Kalhiltna glacier. The park is home to the magnificent Mount McKinley, also known as the roof of North America, and a variety of flora and fauna.
The natural beauty of Denali National Park is breathtaking and attracts visitors from all over world. There’s no shortage of sites to see and from the towering Mt. McKinley to the majestic Wonder Lake, Denali National Park is definitely a must see.
If you are a wildlife lover, you must plan at least one overnight trip to the park. From Grizzly bears to black bears, gray wolves, Dall sheep, pikas, snowshoe hares, martens, wolverines, lynx all inhabit the park. Bird watchers may be able to see waxwings, Arctic Warblers, pine grosbeaks, Ptarmigan, tundra swan, golden eagles during their visit to the park.
It’s this diversity that makes visits to the Denali Visitor Center so unique and with its lush greenery and snow capped mountains the Denali Visitor Center easily has one of the most attractive scenes you’ll find in Alaska.
